Privacy Policy
Who is responsible for your information
This website is operated by Adriana Lyon-Shaw, an independent international growth strategist and Fractional CMO. For personal information handled in connection with this website and consultancy enquiries, Adriana Lyon-Shaw is the data controller.
Information this website collects
This website does not currently provide user accounts, online payments or a contact form. If you choose to book a growth diagnostic, the Calendly scheduling service may collect your name, email address, scheduling preferences and the information you provide in response to booking questions.
If you contact Adriana through LinkedIn, LinkedIn will process information under its own privacy policy. If you book through Calendly or continue a business conversation, Adriana may receive information such as your name, role, organisation, contact details and the information you provide about your enquiry.
The website’s hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This may include an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps and security logs.
Why information is used
Information may be used to:
- operate, maintain and protect the website;
- schedule and respond to a growth diagnostic or other enquiry;
- take steps you request before entering into a contract;
- manage a consultancy relationship or provide agreed services; and
- meet legal, regulatory, accounting or security obligations.
The relevant lawful bases may include legitimate interests in operating a secure business website and responding to enquiries, taking steps before a contract, performing a contract and complying with legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
Calendly is loaded only when you choose to open the booking calendar. Calendly may then use cookies or similar technology under its own Privacy Notice and cookie settings.
A consent-controlled Google Analytics 4 integration has been prepared but remains inactive until a dedicated measurement ID is added. Once activated, optional analytics will run only after a visitor selects “Accept analytics”. Visitors may reject analytics without losing access to the website or booking link.
Sharing and international processing
Personal information is not sold. It may be shared with service providers that support website hosting, scheduling through Calendly, security, communications or professional services, but only where needed for those purposes. If optional analytics is activated and accepted, Google may process limited website-usage information. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights.
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards are expected to be used.
How long information is kept
Technical logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s operational and security requirements. Enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, develop a potential engagement, provide services, maintain relevant business records or meet legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
Contact and complaints
Until a dedicated consultancy email address is established, privacy enquiries can be sent through Adriana Lyon-Shaw’s LinkedIn profile.
You also have the right to raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Information about making a complaint is available from the ICO.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be reviewed when the consultancy name, domain, contact details or website tracking arrangements are finalised, and whenever the way personal information is handled materially changes.
